Who wants to S#*t a Brick?  Dr. Sergio Canavero, who is director of the Turin Advanced Neuromodulation Group in Italy claims he is two years away from doing a "human head transplant". (plop)

Serial killers have been putting other peoples heads on body's for years. That's not new. The problem is connecting the spinal cord. But then, if you can figure out how to reconnect the spinal cord, then the big news should be "No more Quadriplegics". Which is really what this story is about, but once you mention "Head Transplants" then the real story gets shuffled to the back burner and the Frankenstein references begin in earnest.

The problem, as I see it, will be when it gets perfected the rich will use to live forever. They'll keep the poor down, as they do now, and when one body gives out, they'll offer a crap ton of cash to some poor family to give up the body of a family member who's in great shape.

"Live in style for the next generation. Just give up little Joey."

Or, more likely, one of the Eastern European countries will start their own people farm. That way when a billionaire takes ill, he'll just take a trip to the farm, and pick out a new "pet". The French will supply a guillotine, and presto! A wrinkly old head on a clean, young body. After like 10 transplants, it'll be like Zombie face on a young body, so then every rich person will be walking around with a Darth Vader helmet.
