UPDATE: Names Released

Two men and two women are dead after a shooting on Godman drive in Killeen Sunday night.  Officers responded to a disturbance call around, 10:30 pm, in the 1700 block of Godman.

The dead are:  31 year old Lydia Farnia, 40 year old Larry Guzman and the wife of the shooter, 28 year old Dawn Giffa.  Police say 30 year old Atase Giffa shot the others and then killed himself.  A 41 year old woman remains at Scott and White. She too was shot by Giffa.

According to a Killeen Police Department press release, when officers arrived at the scene, they were told that a man had a gun and shots had been fired. Police found three gunshot victims at 1706 Godman and were told the suspect had fled with his wife, back to his residence at 1710 Godman.  A short time later shots were heard coming from inside that residence.  The Tactical Response Unit was called in, and police tried to speak to the man inside the house but there was no response.  Police entered the house around 12:30 am and found the man and woman shot dead.

 

Autopsies on all the victims have been ordered.  Names will be released after next of kin is notified.   Another gunshot victim, a woman, was taken to Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple in serious condition.
