A Fort Hood soldier who once coordinated a sexual assault prevention program on post pleaded guilty Wednesday to 15 of 21 charges related to a prostitution ring he ran.

Sgt. 1st Class Gregory McQueen entered the plea 15 minutes into his court-martial, telling presiding judge Lt. Col. Rebecca Connally that he recruited young female soldiers facing financial difficulties and arranged for them to have sex in exchange for money. He also admitted to having sex with a married private, telling her to demonstrate on him what she intended to do with clients.

The charges against McQueen included conspiracy to solicit prostitution, maltreatment of a subordinate, pandering, and adultery. McQueen was also charged with sexual assault, but did not plead guilty to those counts.

McQueen opted to let Lt. Col. Connally decide his sentence. Prosecutors have recommended the maximum sentence of 40 years and six months confinement, demotion to E-1, forfeiture of pay and allowances, and a dishonorable discharge.
