The lineman, who was killed on April 22nd, was first thought to have died accidentally, but initial on sight investigation of the crime scene, and by the medical examiner, determined the death to be a homicide.

Sgt W. Patrick Swanton said that detectives have completed follow-up reports, and that a number of people have been interviewed, but no arrest have been made at this time. They ask that if you have any information on this case that you call 254-750-7500.

At this point the only official word is that Kenneth Wayne Cleveland died from “violent injuries”. Nothing specific has been mentioned so far. But, a report from someone close the investigation, who didn’t want their name announced, said that Mr. Cleveland was beaten to death with some type of blunt instrument.
