‘Cosmos’ Returns to Television, and K101.7 Will Be Watching

34 years after Carl Sagan took us on a voyage across space and time in a “Spaceship of the Imagination”, ‘Comos’ returns with a new host and the same noble mission of rekindling America’s romance with science.

Beginning Sunday, March 9 on FOX, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson will helm a new 13-episode mini-series sequel to 1980’s ‘Cosmos: A Personal Journey’. The new series, subtitled ‘A Spacetime Odyssey’, will have the benefit of spectacular new special effects and three-and-a-half decades of expanded scientific knowledge.

K1017 will be along for the ride, reviewing episodes weekly as Dr. Tyson guides a new generation of viewers through billions of years of cosmic evolution. Check out the trailer below:
