Dogs and owners are invited to woof it up at Barktoberfest (Saturday October 4) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the area of the Family Aquatics Center at Lions Club Park.
Activities are free and will include dog demonstrations, open dog swim and an off leash play area. The always popular Pooch Pageant will crown the best pooch smooch, best trick, best costume and tallest and smallest.
Vendors will have pet products for sale and shelters will offer on-site pet adoptions.
