This past week we had women going without bras to show support for Breast Cancer

The key is early detection

Awareness Month. Alas, none of my co-workers took part...except for me. But all perverted weirdness aside, the idea is to keep in mind that a simple test could save your life. The key is early detection. Check yourself in the shower at least once a month. Guys, that includes you as well.

I once stayed in a home of a family that had breast cancer in their family history. In each of their showers they had diagrams attached to the shower caddies to show you how to do a breast examination. I'll be honest. I did it. Not knowing then, like I do know, that men too can get breast cancer. My showers took even longer that I was checking on multiple areas.

In case you don't have a diagram on a shower caddy, then allow Ellen to help you out.
