Elizabeth Gallagher Wins the Trip Around the World with a Stranger

He found her, Jordan Axani, will travel the world with the substitute Elizabeth Gallagher.

You may remember our story about that Canadian man, 28 year old Jordan Axani and his quest for a new Elizabeth.  You see Jordan and his former girlfriend, Elizabeth Gallagher, booked a three-week, around the world trip back in May. But the two broke up and Elizabeth was not going.

Jordan still wanted to go on the trip with someone else, but he had lots of plane tickets with Elizabeth's name on them, it’s a hassle to change names on tickets, so Jordan put out a call on Reddit looking for another Elizabeth Gallagher with a Canadian passport.  Lots of people responded, men and women alike. Even some who offered to change their name, after all it’s a free trip around the world!

Jordan finally picked 23 year old Elizabeth "Quinn" Gallagher, a Nova Scotia student who is also a homeless shelter volunteer.  Jordan was impressed with that and so he picked her.

The trip will start this Sunday in New York. Jordan says it's purely platonic.
