Dustin Diamond will not be leaving Wisconsin just yet.

I don't think it's a good idea for me to interview people. I interviewed Wolf Man Jack a year and a half before he died. Then, a few years ago, Dustin Diamond played a comedy club in Killeen and he stopped by the station, with his fellow comics, and I was asked to interview him. Now a few years later he's going to jail.

Dustin Diamond, or Screech from the 1990s TV show "Saved by the Bell," has been sentenced to serve 4 months in jail steming from a bar fight on Christmas Day.

Judge Paul Malloy also sentenced Diamond to 15 months' probation and ordered him to report to jail Sunday. Diamond was convicted earlier this month on two misdemeanor counts that stemmed from a Christmas Day barroom fight.

It could've been worse, the 38-year-old actor was cleared of a felony charge last month after a three-day jury trial, but the jury did find him guilty of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct.

Diamond apologized for his roll in the brawl, then, according to AP left the courtroom without further comment.
