‘Don’t Stop Believin’ Saves Two Men and a Boy After Their Boat Capsized

Last Sunday Zack Romanak  and his ten year old son Noah were on his boat off the coast of the Hawaiian island of ff Kauai’, with them a tourist they met that day Brad Warren

It was getting late, Captain Zack was taking them back to the harbor when a powerful wave capsized the boat.

The impact of the wave snapped Tourist Brad's femur in three places and broke his prosthetic hip.  Imagine the Pain!

As water rushed into the boat, Captain Zach swam into the vessel to get life jackets . He found two and gave one to his son Noah and the other to Brad.

The two men and the boy were out in the water for 4 hours, wondering if they were going to make it.  Every time a wave hit, the pain was agonizing for Brad, he couldn't hold it in, he screamed with each blast.

Suddenly Noah hears something in the distance. He told the men to listen.

It was music coming from a party in the harbor; the song "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey blared from the speakers. And get this, Brad said as he listened, he saw a star shoot through the sky.

The three took it as a sign to swim to shore.

Captain Zack led the group, his son holding onto him, and Broken Leg Brad holding onto Noah. That was scary, swimming in the dark sea, not knowing where the sharks are.

Captain Zack thought it would take them about two hours to make it to land, but within a half an hour, they were at the party.

Captain Zack ran onto shore and called 911. People poured out from the party to help and firefighters arrived shortly after.

Brad was rushed to the hospital, Noah and Captain Zack were not  injured at all.

The next morning, Zack's capsized boat was found a mile offshore.

Brad the Tourist called Captain Zack a hero, and Noah the boy a Rockstar for helping him make it through the ordeal.
