It was the last show for David Letterman last night. He ends a 33 year career on our T.V. He was one of our last links to some of the most famous entertainers that are no longer with us.

If you ever took the time to talk with old people you'd find that their stories are truly interesting. The more interesting life they've led, the more interesting the stories. Imagine having a conversation with David Letterman in a few years.

Dave has interviewed the top entertainers for the past 33 years. He's a link to Bob Hope,

Bette Davis, Gilda Radner, Andy Kaufman, Johnny Carson, Roy Orbison, and so many others. I truly hope he writes a book about all of his encounters so we never forget about all the great talents that have past us by.

Letterman has been a staple in my life as an adult. I was a senior in high school when Dave first went on Late Night. Turns out my little brother new who he was because he watched him when Dave did a morning show. In fact, by brother would tape Dave as much as he could with VHS, and even BETA tapes.

I tried for the past 3 night to stay up long enough to watch him, and failed every time. He came on the air when I was a young man, and he's leaving when I'm old and sleepy. I got to work today and pulled up what I could on YouTube, and think this montage fits well. Look at what I mean about how many people he's had on his show over the years. We'll miss you Dave.
