HO HO HO. Here's some tunes to stuff all the way down your Christmas stocking!  Okay, so then everybody's doing some top ten action this time of year, and if the bandwagon's coming through, might as well jump on boards, spurs a jingling!

Here's a quick list of Dave In The Cave's Top Five favorite Christmas Songs!

Yeah, I grew up listening to this thing called The Dr. Demento show, and, yes, it highly influenced my tastes in wacky songs. Listen, you wanna hear "White Christmas" again?  Hey, that's fine. I wanna hear about the thing you found in a pickle jar and Santa acting funny. That's just me.

Another thing near and dear to me is the Golden Age Of Rap, stretching from it's roots in the late seventies to about 1993. And, boy howdy, that means, come Christmas time, ya gotta have RUN DMC on your playlist.

With the snow falling, and the fire going, all of which of course is more in the mind than in reality, you need some smooth in your Christmas, and none smoother than mr. Lou Rawls. Telling you what "Christmas Is..."

The most interesting thing about radio Christmas playlists is how all the walls around formats come down and suddenly we're hearing music from decades radio format hounds would never EVER touch. So, from the chintz of the fifties, I choose Ray Anthony and those women, whispering in your ear. Ah, that's good stuff. Watching the snow pile up on the Studebaker. Sipping a hot toddy. Ahhhh.

And, yes, we end with Weird Al, with the best and most violent Christmas song ever, because it's Al, and that is just what you do.

P.S: Here's a  look at some AMAZING Christmas displays set to songs by AC/DC!
