End of the year means LIST TIME! YAY, LISTS!  Have I mentioned how proud I am to be part of the above team. Believe me, you can't tell it by looking at them up there, but what you have before you is one of the hardest working, most talented radio folks it's ever been my pleasure to work with. You would not believe the sloth prevalent in our business. These guys buck the "three hours and hit the door" style of broadcasting I've see in the past. And that is especially true here with the stories on our homepage. So, here we find my top five fave stories written by the K-101.7 Home Team.

(TO READ THE STORY, JUST CLICK THE PIC!)

From Jamie Garret, we have the story illustrating the lengths a small market radio station Radiomen must go through just to keep his stations running. I give you "Over the River and Through the Woods to the Radio Station Transmitter We Go… and Go… and Go"

Next up, it's two from Q. Oh, Q. He travels with a portable Line, just in case he needs to cross it at a moment's notice. He's a blustery, cynical, way WAY talented force of nature. This was a difficult choice, having to pick from such gems as "Guy Hits Deer While Riding Bike Down Hill", "‘Frozen’ Christmas Light Show is Perfect…Torture" or the classic "Slow Mo Guys Go Gruesome With Close Up of Bug Zapper." So, I went with "Big Q Reviews Milk Chocolate Pringles":

And, yes, the audience favorite: "Two Spaces At The End of a Sentence is Wrong? Big Q Thinks Not!"

Next up, we have a story from the light of my work life, the always complaining ying to my don't quite know what the hell is going on Yang, Ms. Julia "Boom Boom" Conner. After much thought, and much sifting through her posts here on the page, I am going with this gem, known as "2014 Recipes for Disaster in Julia’s Kitchen!"

Aaaannnnd that leads to the last story in this Fave Five, one by me. The story I am most proud of, the one that goes on the digital fridge with a gold star, and that ladies and gentleman is "An Ode To The The Medium Sized Sonic Cup That Could." A thing I did.
