Chart wise, it's one of the band's biggest pop hits, topping at at number 1 hit in Australia and Canada, number 16 here in the U.S. According to the wiki entry, "Squeeze Box" was originally intended for a Who television special in 1974. In the planned performance of the song, the members of the band were to be surrounded by one hundred topless women playing accordions as they played the song. This never happened, darn the luck, and everyone in the band with the exception of Daltry has maintained that the song is not dirty at all. *wink wink* More interesting, Pete Townshend wrote it in an afternoon, thought nothing of it and was shocked when it became a hit in the United States.
