Slow jams week continues. Oh boy does it. From Australia, it's two dudes and a whole lotta expensive designer linen passed off as music. Man, though, the ladies loved it. Ladies ladies ladies, give it up..for Air Supply.

Man, when I came up with the idea of slow jam week, I didn't know it would lead me here. Well, maybe I had an inkling, but I thought we be up to our sensitive chins in hair metal power ballads, at the very least. Ya know, Cinderella? Winger? FRICKIN WARRANT?

Curse you, inner d.j. Curse you Jim Steinman, the man behind the biggest hits of Meatloaf, who wrote and produced this song. That's why it's trying to reach the clouds and rip the rock off the walls of the Grand Canyon. Couple of Australian dudes, the Aussie Hall And Oates, if you will, minus the talent, the soul and the mustache.

I mean both INXS and AC/DC are also from Australia, couldn't they have roughed these guys up a little? Took that stupid acoustic guitar and broke it of the the short guy's man fro? Bahh. Two guys from the E Street band are on here, and Rock and Roll Hootchie Koo guy Rick Derringer plays the guitar solo, so there's that. Harumph. Here you go, then, a song that went to number two in  the U.S. and only number 80 in the U.K.

Your K-101.7 Song Of The Day!

Yeesh.

P.S: Did you know that people used to call Night Ranger the THE AIR SUPPLY OF HARD ROCK!
