Classes Canceled After Break In At Central Texas Christian School

Central Texas Christian School at 4141 W FM 93 in Temple was closed as a precaution Friday after a break in and vandalism.

A school administrator spotted a person on surveillance video walking around the school late Thursday night, but the video didn’t indicate that the person ever left. Police were contacted around 10:40 pm, and a room-by-room search was conducted. That searched ended Friday morning, but the suspect was never found.

Reports indicate that several ceiling tiles were removed or damaged, but the full extent of the alleged vandalism has yet to be revealed. We will update this story as police release more information.
