Truck Day returns March 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Killeen Special Events Center, 3301 S. W.S. Young Drive.

This is a great chance for kids to climb up inside the City of Killeen's work trucks, have their picture taken, and meet some of the workers who operate the vehicles that keep Killeen moving. The event is open to children of all ages.

Truck Day is put together by the City of Killeen. The event is free and offers a hands-on learning for little ones during spring break. Children are encouraged to climb inside the trucks and learn about the functions and special operations of vehicles like fire trucks, ambulances, and garbage trucks.

The city always brings out dozens of trucks to display from various city departments. For more information, contact the Killeen Public Library at 501-8990.
