Blue Bell Creamery has recalled pints labeled as Rocky Road that instead contain Cookies 'n' Cream product.

The company says the mislabeled pints contain soy and wheat, which would not be declared on the label and could present a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction risk to those sensitive to those two ingredients.

The pints would be labeled Rocky Road, but contain Cookies 'n' Cream, which is distinctively black and white in appearance. Incorrectly labeled units can be identified by a code located on the bottom of the pint: 022918576.

The products were distributed throughout Texas and Louisiana, and the mistake was caught by a Blue Bell employee while restocking a retailer's freezer.

If you've purchased one of the mislabeled pints, you can return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Anyone with questions or concerns may call Blue Bell Creamery at (979) 836-7977, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM CST.
