Bill Murray is more than an actor. He is a seer, someone who points the way to a higher level of existence.

Am I serious? As a Chicago heart-attack at lunchtime.

For someone of Irish Catholic descent, he effortlessly infuses his beliefs with the best of Buddha logic. When he says "It just doesn't matter" over an over again, he's expressing a universal truth as well as embracing an attitude that essentially tells the nanny state and the obsessive bureaucrats that they're the irrelevant ones. Or as John Mellencamp also stated, "nothing matters, so what if it did."

Now, a book has been published which attempts to illuminate Murray's inherent wisdom. Entitled The Big Bad Book Of Bill Murray: A Critical Appreciation Of The Worlds Finest Actor by Robert Schnakenberg it sounds like nothing short of a love-fest.

Then again, how could one not love a guy who embraces this outlook on life:

"I made a lot of mistakes and realized I had to let them go. Don’t think about your errors or failures, otherwise you’ll never do a thing. [The Guardian, 2005]"

So there you have it. Another pearl of wisdom from a very relaxed acting legend. Makes me want to watch that scene in Caddyshack...
