Hey Gang,

People are weird.  It seems they are really hooked on looks.  I tried a little experiment at work today, and people seemed upset.  You tell me, was this inappropriate?

I normally wear gym shorts to work.  I've done this for years, mainly because I don't get paid enough to afford a fat mans wardrobe, so I've done the normal thing; I turned to elastic.  The only problem with that is, you don't know how big your getting because of the "stretch" factor.  I turns out that I went from 54 pants to over 70.  The biggest pants I could find were 66's.  I've finally lost enough weight that I'm able to fit in the those, but I still wear gym shorts underneath.

Now here's where the trouble begins.  Because I have gym shorts under my pants, I feel that if I unbutton and unzip my pants I'm still "decent", but others at work think it's obscene.  Of course if I looked like that Thor guy no one would bitch, but I don't so let the uproar begin!   Yes, I realize that you shouldn't walk around work with your pants unzipped, but since I'm wearing gym shorts underneath, and I announced that I'm wearing them, people shouldn't freak out. O.K., yes I did make a face, and yes, I'll admit to some gyration that could be considered "creepy" but I'm still wearing gym shorts. (God, I'm beginning to sound like Ross from "Friends" when he was saying that they were on a "break". Sorry about that)

I've attached a video for you all to decide for yourself.  If a co-worker tried this at your work, and they looked like me, would you be upset?

P.S. Want to thank Rowdy for taking the video.  Somehow the volume got off, so it looks like a bad Kung Fu picture.
