Upfront, I will cop to the true purpose of this post. I am looking for a good deal on a Rega turntable.

Over the years, I have amassed a pretty massive collection of vinyl LP records. At the same time, I want to make clear I am not one of these blind vinyl devotees. I am still of the belief the Compact Disc is superior in virtually every benchmark. Frequency response, dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio...these are measureable attributes in recordings and in each the CD dominates.

That being said, the sound quality of vinyl has been brought our over the years with the refinement of turntable technology. If anything, the goal has been parity with CD and bringing out what's in those vinyl grooves. Until now, it took high end equipment worth thousands upon thousands of dollars to uncover the best in LPs.

In the world of high-end audio,,the Rega is budget priced. Methinks that's a bit off. $500 for a spinning wheel and a needle? Not Family Dollar/Dollar Tree level IMHO.

So I'm gonna share this code and hope I get a phone call in time for holiday gift-giving to myself.
