The city of Spring Branch, Texas, located northwest of Houston experienced a four-alarm fire at a warehouse complex this morning, sending billowing flames and plumes of black smoke into the sky.

The blaze initially began in a nearby home before spreading to the warehouse, which is used by a custom packaging company. Nearly 200 local firefighters have been deployed to fight the inferno.

Residents have reported that explosions of canisters of hazardous materials shook the foundations of their homes. To make matters more dire, the warehouse complex in flames is located near several schools, including Spring Ranch Elementary, which was evacuated.

A hazmat team is currently running tests to check if any hazardous chemicals have been released into the air. The Houston Fire Department reports everything is now under control and that no one was injured or killed during the incident.
