Get ready for one of the all time sing along at the top of your lungs of all time. sweeping all comers aside, here come the Foundations! I'm already singing along in my head as I type this. More than "Sweet Caroline", better than Sheena Easton's "Morning Train", this is my singalong jam, yo. Man, do I ever turn off? Anyway, we're heading back to 1969 for this one, the band an early real life multi-cultural mix of West Indians, White British, and a Sri Lankan,  coming together in London, under the much weirder name of The Ramong Sound. They hit number three on the Billboard One Hundred with this song, failed to chart higher than 48 with their next single, then soon fell apart. Still, one hit wonder status ain't bad. And this is one of the best.

I request that you now turn up your computer speakers, maybe throw open the windows so your neighbors can join in. They'll love you for it. Feel free to share today's-

-K-101.7 SONG OF THE DAY!

P.S: Do you know who else is a "one hit wonder?"  Jimi Hendrix!
