A 4 year Old Girl Sets Out on an Early Morning Slushie Run
It's 3 am in Northern Philadelphia, Annabelle wants a Slushie, so she goes out to get one, Annabelle is only 4 years old.
Thank goodness nice people found the kid who somehow got out of the house and headed for the store. It was raining out but Annabelle had on her purple coat and snow boots.
A man flagged down a city bus telling the driver he found a little girl. As you can see from the WPVI story, Annabelle gets on the bus and proceeds to tell the riders about her mission.
It only took an hour for police to get Annabelle back home to her parents.
Her mom repeatedly thanked all who helped bring her home safely. The parents have reconfigured the door locks. Police say no charges will be filed against them.
Of course Annabelle does not even realize how much danger she was in. The kid still wants her Slushie.
