Huey Lewis was something like ten years older than the average age of you 80's band lead singer. A child of the sixties, he'd had the long hair, the backstory of backpacking  through Europe to find himself, not that he needed to since Huey Craigington Lewis the Third actually came from money.  Middle age was already in his near future, and after the raucous bar band made good vibe of his big breakthrough album, Sports, a follow up carried the maturity that a man of his advancing age would naturally bring to the table. And that album was called Fore.

Yes, Huey went full Dad on this one. What was Johnny High School music listener supposed to make of the middle aged shrug of "Stuck With You?" The mellowing figure googling at his old lady in "Doing It All For My Baby." At least it had that one song from Back To The Future. The kids liked that one, right? Listen, I can't really put into words what Huey himself, via the movie American Psycho, said to Weird Al, before putting an ax through his head.
