From the World Series to the Super Bowl, FOX’s 24: Legacy is going to make time fly. A new trailer for the action icon’s next iteration debuted during Tuesday’s baseball tee-off, promising a new day and all the explosions therein for 24: Legacy’s Super Bowl premiere.

Our newest look at the 24 sequel series offers better looks at Miranda Otto and Jimmy Smits’ characters, also promising action and intrigue on par with the franchise’s Jack Bauer days. The inaugural installment will explode out of the gate on Super Bowl Sunday, February 5, immediately after the big game, while so reads the synopsis:

24: Legacy follows a military hero’s return to the U.S. and the trouble that follows him back — compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil. Told in real time with split screens, each episode will represent one hour of an eventful day.

In addition to Corey Hawkins in the lead role, the new Sutherland-produced series stars, Miranda Otto, Anna Diop, Teddy Sears, Jimmy Smits, Dan Bucatinsky, Coral Pena, and Charlie Hofheimer. Producers have plans to return Chloe to the series eventually, while Carlos Bernard is confirmed to reprise his role as Tony Almeida.

The premiere won’t arrive until 2017, but check out the first trailer below.
