ACL Fest became the gluttonous beast no longer able to fit into a single weekend, and you now have to stomach two weekends of Austin douchebaggery to see your favorite bands.

This year's lineup, for being two weekends and all, is weak.  While I'm in full agreement that Foo Fighters are the last great "old school" rock band on the planet, but they're not that home run you're looking for in a headliner.  As big as the world of Foo may be, it's still an acquired taste.  Some see Foo Fighters' act as schtick, and some see Dave Grohl as a one-trick-pony.  Or at the very least, a one-trick-screaming-jackyl.

I personally love the guy, and I love the Foo Fighters.  I'm also not even remotely considering dealing with the headache of ACL Fest to see them.  You book the same headliners for both weekends?  Is this a festival celebrating the greatest music Austin sees fit to support, or is this a Las Vegas residency for over-the-hill bands?

Check out the full lineup to judge for yourself, but this year's lineup lacks the drop-dead headliner in the neighborhood of a Pearl Jam or even a Jay-Z.  While the festival lacks the home run in the headliner department, there are a few handfuls worth of 2nd, 3rd, 4th-tier bands that fill in the rest of the two weekends.

Mark me down as wanting to see School of Rock, and they're the very last band listed on the lineup page.  That shows you how in-sync I am with the kids and the music they love (and don't love).  I only have interest in seeing about a half-dozen of these bands, and none are on what I'd consider my bucket list.  Better luck next year, fellas.
