Originally the song went pear shaped when released in it's native U.K. It took American radio to start playing the mess out of it, sending it all the way to number one, sandwiched between decidedly less funky number ones by Linda "Cha Cha" Ronstadt and Eagles (the). Then the U.K. caught and sent it straight up their charts.

Really, do yourself a favor and dig into this band's catalog. It's good stuff.

That's why we made it your:

K-101.7 SONG OF THE DAY!

(note of interest, the one not pasty white guy in the band, Steve Ferrone, is now a Heartbreaker to Tom's Petty)
